El Paso Giving Day

El Paso Giving Day is a 24-hour online giving drive that raises as much money as possible in one day for non-profit organizations that help those in our community. El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank will be participating in the charitable event once again. El Paso Giving Day will take place on Wednesday, November 14, 2019, but this year there will be an early giving period from November 7 through November 13. Walmart will be matching contributions made through elpasogivingday.org, up to a total match of $1 million. Link: http://bit.ly/2NhwTY

El Paso Giving Time

Walmart will be encouraging volunteerism by paying charities $5 an hour for their volunteers from November 15 through December 31. We encourage you to participate and support El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank!

Follow these steps to create an account on GivePulse, which will be used to track volunteer hours for the $5 match from your smart device:

1. Go to the app store and download the Give Pulse app
2. Create an account
3. Always allow the app to use your location
4. Click on "groups"
5. Search for El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank
6. Click on "join”
7. After you have joined the group you will be able to donate and track your volunteer hours.
