​El Pasoan’s Fighting Hunger Food Bank reaches out and provides nutritious food to those quarantined

Since mid-June, the program has been making about 15 deliveries a day to COVID-19 affected individuals. Within the past few weeks of July there has been a major influx of people calling and stating they have tested positive for COVID-19 and the program is now making a minimum of 20 deliveries per day to recipients that have tested positive for COVID-19. These individuals receive emergency deliveries - one or two total deliveries per recipient of an emergency food box once a week for two weeks.

In total the Home Delivery program of the EPFH food bank is currently making 1,340 home deliveries to individuals who are seniors, shut-ins, disabled, have lost their transportation, and are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
