American Food Prices Still on the Rise

According to CNN Business, grocery prices jumped 13.5% and restaurant menu prices increased by 8%. Here in the borderland, we are no exception. The more you are impacted by inflation with higher prices at the register El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank sees the effects double. We too deal with higher freight costs and less food to transport back to El Paso, and we see more and more people turning to us for food as their dollar does not go as far.
