Generous Year-End Donations from Sunflower Bank

EPFH is thrilled to announce the receipt of two generous donations from Sunflower Bank, totaling $13,000, which will significantly bolster our efforts to combat hunger and support the borderland.

The first donation, a remarkable $10,000, was made by Sunflower Bank in honor of those struggling, foregoing traditional holiday gifts to employees in favor of feed our neighbors. This extraordinary act of generosity reflects Sunflower Bank's deep commitment to making a positive impact in the community.

In addition to this remarkable contribution, EPFH has been honored to receive the prestigious Empowerment Award, accompanied by a grant of $3,000. This award, based on nominations from the El Paso community, signifies the recognition of our dedicated efforts to empower and uplift those in need within our community.

Susan Goodell, El Pasoans Fighting Hunger’s Chief Executive Officer, expressed gratitude, saying, "We are deeply touched by Sunflower Bank's remarkable generosity and their commitment to making a difference in our community. Their decision to forego holiday gifts in favor of supporting the borderland speaks volumes. We are also incredibly honored to receive the Empowerment Award. These donations will enable us to continue providing vital support to those facing food insecurity. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Sunflower Bank and the El Paso community for their unwavering support."

These donations will play a crucial role in EPFH's ongoing mission to fight hunger and provide essential resources to individuals and families in need throughout our area.
