Invite El Pasoans Fighting Hunger to your home this Friendsgiving

As we get closer to the season of gathering with the people who matter most, we’re launching our Giving Tuesday campaign, Friendsgiving with EPFH. Its a simple way to bring your circle together and support families in our region who could use a little extra help this season.

Invite your friends to join you, start a small fundraising page, or jump into one that already exists. Even five or ten dollars from a handful of people can provide real meals for real families right here at home.

And right now, your support goes twice as far. Thanks to the generosity of the Woody and Gayle Hunt Family Foundation and an Anonymous Fund held at the Jewish Community Foundation of Southern Arizona, we have a $300,000 matching gift opportunity. That means every $1 helps provide not just 7 meals, but 14 instead.

It’s about community showing up for community, one friend group, one family at a time. We’d love to have you as part of it leading up to Giving Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025.

Peer-to-peer fundraising at it's core

We are calling on our community to drive this movement. We're keeping it grassroots. Join our friendsgiving campaign by taking this message to your friends and families when you gather this holiday season. Together, we could create a movement of giving.

JustGiving is a fundraising platform that we're using to empower you all to take this to your families and friends. We have created a template page, where you'll be able to either copy or create your own, and share a personalized link with your peers. This link will track the amount raised by you and your circles, and help track the impact that your friend group is able to make. Set a goal for your fundraiser, share it on social media, take it with you to your gatherings, and you'll be well on your way to making a difference for those facing food insecurity in our communities.
