El Pasoans Fighting Hunger proudly announces its placement on Forbes' esteemed Top 100 Charities list for the second consecutive year. Being 78th on the list not only highlights our organizational achievements but, more importantly, underscores the critical need to address food insecurity in the borderland.
We are one of only three charities to achieve 100% in Fundraising Efficiency and Charitable Commitment. These accolades honor our donors for supporting their community while giving peace of mind that every dollar donated feeds our food-insecure neighbors.
By the end of this year, we will have distributed more than 100 million pounds of food, providing relief to a record number of individuals and families. Our foodbank continues to play a critical role in providing support for migrants through partnerships with shelters and churches while directly feeding migrants left to shelter in the streets. We keep El Pasoans healthy through our Food FARMacy by empowering participants to manage their medical condition by providing access to nutrition education. Our social services coordinators are here to help those searching for government assistance through SNAP and other programs. These are examples of how our focus extends beyond food to encompass the overall health of our community.
We sincerely thank our supporters, volunteers, and the El Paso community for their unwavering support. This recognition on the Forbes list serves as a call to action to help us feed the borderland and a reminder that ...no one should go hungry.
