Cuando usted dona su tiempo se convierte en un guerrero contra el hambre.
EPFHFB volunteers share their skills and make a huge impact. Every volunteer experience is a little different, for example, at EPFHFB, we need your help sorting and packing food, gardening, or educating the community. Each experience is critical in helping get healthy meals to families facing hunger.

WHAT TO WEAR - Some of the volunteer assignments will be outside, so please consider wearing sunscreen and bringing a hat and/or sunglasses. At the main warehouse, we currently need volunteers to help inside, as well. ALL volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, and shirts with sleeves (no tank tops).
Sort Food: Volunteers assess and sort boxes of food items and household products that have been donated. Pre-sort, repack, re-label all to prepare for our partner agencies to distribute the food.
Pull Orders: Volunteers fill orders placed by our partner agencies so that they can serve the people in need. Some heavy lifting may be required.
Office: Volunteers assist with general administrative tasks including filing, data entry, mailings and other light office duties. Computer experience in Microsoft Office Suite is helpful.
Special Events: Volunteers help staff our special events.
