JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: PARTNER AGENCY RELATIONS MANAGER

Reports To: Chief Operations Officer

Direct Reports: None

POSITION SUMMARY:

With guidance and support from the Chief Operations Officer, the Partner Agency Relations Manager oversees agencies ensuring their compliance with EPFH food bank and USDA guidelines; cultivates new agency relationships; and prepares for and provides on-site supervision of mobile food pantries and various other distribution programs as they become available and oversees the national Hunger in America Survey.

MAJOR DUTIES AND SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Seek potential new agency relationships with faith based & civic non-profit groups;
  • Assist new agencies in obtaining food handlers, civil rights and food safety certifications;
  • Teach new agencies how to order & distribute food; how to file statistical reporting for local, state and federal requirements;
  • Make regular visits to agencies to observe & offer guidance;
  • Conduct annual agency inspections to insure regulations compliance;
  • Conduct annual area wide agency meeting on updated policies & training;
  • Provide monthly agency statistical reports & EPFH poundage reports to supervisor;
  • Prepare mobile food pantries in conjunction with Distribution Manager & Processing Associates ;
  • Schedule mobile food pantries & various distribution programs throughout the area & provide for delivery & on-site distribution;
  • Execute national Hunger In America Survey every four years;
  • Treat all agencies & their staff with respect at all times; resolve any problems quickly & report to supervisor;
  • Perform other duties as requested or assigned;

REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience: Associates degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Two years of successful customer service experience requiring strong attention to detail.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and projects and consistently meet deadlines;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy;
  • Ability to appropriately interact with people while maintaining excellent customer service;
  • Proficiency with basic software programs such as MS Word and Excel;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing priorities;
  • Ability to work effectively under periodically stressful conditions;
  • Good problem solving skills;
  • Self motivated with the ability to interact in a team environment;
  • Positive and professional attitude and demeanor;
  • Ability to pass a background check;
  • Ability to pass random drug testing.
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish
