(February 10, 2019) El Paso, TX-- El Pasoans Fighting Hunger has been selected as one of the Top 10 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Large-Scale Public Facility proposals for community input.
The proposal, submitted to the City of El Paso Department of Human & Community Development, requests funding for building expansion to include a Commercial & Teaching Kitchen for El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank.
"The Food Bank needs your vote for a community kitchen to feed more hungry neighbors in need, eliminate local food waste and ensure our community is prepared to provide healthy meals in the event of a disaster," said EPFH Chief Executive Officer, Susan Goodell.
