We distributed 15.5 million pounds of food in 2018! A majority of this food was donated by grocery retailers and distributors.
WHAT TYPE OF FOOD IS DONATED?
EPFH accepts non-perishable food items, fresh and frozen food, and non-food items such as paper goods, personal hygiene products and cleaning supplies – any item available from a grocery retailer or distributor. These products may no longer be marketable for the company, but if they are still good to use and can be safely consumed the food bank is able to serve those who need these items most.
Please contact our Chief Operations Officer to become a partner in donating food etc.
THERE ARE MANY REASONS WHY COMPANIES CHOOSE TO DONATE, INCLUDING:
All businesses are eligible for a tax deduction for donations of product to the El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank.
