A note from Victor

In just a few short years, we have been able to increase our good distribution significantly. In 2016, we distributed 11 million pounds of food or 9,166,600 meals, and in 2017, we are striving to distribute 14 million points of food, or 11,666,600 meals.

Stamp Out Hunger

The 25th annual letter carriers’ food drive, Stamp Out Hunger, collected 153,249 pounds of food. The National Association of Letter Carriers’ (NALC), helped give back to communities by encouraging households to fill up a brown paper bag with nonperishable food items.

Making a Positive Difference in our Community

Plastic Molding Technology (PMT) Inc. presented El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank (EPFH) with a $50,000 cumulative gift, on behalf of CEO and Owner Charles Sholtis and Training & Development Coordinator Mary Sholtis, on Tuesday, June 6, 2017.

“We choose to support an organization working in El Paso for El Pasoans,” Charles Sholtis said. “El Pasoans Fighting Hunger is making huge strides in hunger relief in our area and we support their critical mission of ensuring no one goes hungry.”

Pantries Receive Refrigerators from the Burkitt Foundation

El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank (EPFH) received a $20,000 grant to purchase refrigerators for partner pantries to store and distribute produce.

Sustained Giving!

Our new website allows donors the option to make a sustained gift through monthly payments. We currently are seeking 2,500 donors to make $20 monthly contributions: that would result in $600,000 for El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank!
